Join the Weston Forest and Trail Association for a special holiday walk on the old Sears Estate Land. The walk will be on December 9th beginning at 2:00 pm. We will meet at the top of the steps on Town Green at the top of the sledding hill and walk from there into our Hemlock Grove for some Forest Bathing (don't forget your forest bathing suit!!) and a special Holiday Tribute to the Sears Family who donated this important open space to Weston. We will be back to town green in time to celebrate the First Annual Winter Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Bring your friends, kids, dogs...everyone welcome. For more information, contact walk leader
Diana Chaplin (EDIT: contact info removed after walk)
You do not have to be a member of the Weston Forest and Trail Association to join the walk, but please consider becoming a member. Your membership dues support the maintenance and preservation of Weston’s open space. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be on leash. Additional information can be found in sections of Pam Fox’s book Farm Town to Suburb, Chapter 13, "Boston Post Road East" and Chapter 14, "The Horace Sears Estate."
