February 2, 2020: Cat Rock & 80 Acres

Please join us Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. for Weston Forest and Trail's next monthly walk. We will meet at the end of Drabbington Way, in the parking lot next to the ball field, rain or shine. We will visit some of the highlights of the Cat Rock/80 Acres Park on the north side of Weston, including Hobbs Pond, the new dam, the rehabilitated bridges across Hobbs Brook, and the old ski slope.

All ages are welcome to join us. Attendees do not have to be members of WFTA to join the walk, but please do consider becoming a member, as membership dues support the maintenance and preservation of Weston’s open space. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be on leash. Tailgate refreshments will follow the walk. Trail maps of all Weston conservation land can be purchased for $10 at the Conservation Commission office in Town Hall, 11 Town House Road, Weston. For information, contact the walk leader, Joel Angiolillo at joel.angiolillo@outlook.com.
